The Steps for Layaway
Step 1
Contact us at contact@chicagoconsignment.com. Let us know which item/s you are interested in placing on layaway. Each item has a SKU number and model name. This is all we need to know.
STEP 2
We will send you a PayPal invoice for the entire amount of your order. Only a 25% non-refundable downpayment needs to be paid to reserve an item/s on layaway.
STEP 3
Once we received your downpayment, we will remove the item/s from sale and reserve them for you.
STEP 4
Make payments against the original PayPal invoice until it is paid in full. Payments are at your discretion, when and however much that's convenient for you. We ask that all layaways be fully paid within three months.
STEP 5
Once you have paid in full, your item/s will be shipped within one business day. Be sure your shipping address on your PayPal account is accurate. We can only ship to the PayPal address on file.
STEP 6
Receive and enjoy your new item/s! 👜

Once we receive your 25% downpayment your item/s are reserved just for you. They are removed from our website and marked: "Sold - hold for your name here on layaway."
No, none. We do not charge any extra fees, interest or other charges for utilizing layaway. All items are eligible for layaway.
Call or email us! Things come up, life happens. We understand that.
We'll allow for a reasonable grace period, between two weeks to another full month. The full amount will then need to be completed before the end of the grace period.
If you have changed your mind and want to cancel your layaway, all payments made less the original downpayment will be refunded via PayPal.
